I Figured it OUT!!

Good and Bad Habits

A new series!I may stick with this one. Having been nunified as a child I think there are quite a few nun characters running around in my head. This one "Sister Mary Caroline" my 7th&8th grade teacher was very tall and thin. I would categorize her as a good habit. It's a freaky week at school...the last week, too much going on!

What do I REALLY need?

I am packing to go to Myrtle Beach and I have the whole back end of my Jeep full. Now 1/3 of it is the inflatable bed a pillow and a blanket...so that can't be avoided..then my books for finishing a paper and to study Spanish...well I have to have that. I have to take a little food because I won't be able to eat out but maybe once and....well it is Thanksgiving. I am taking three cameras because I have to have the right one, and this place is supposed to be great....... so I don't want to be caught with the wrong camera. I am not taking very many clothes, but if I got caught in a storm or fell in the ocean I would need dry clothes, and then it may be warm or cold and so I might need to layer, then of course I am taking my swimsuit just in case.....it's just two days...I've looked and looked and I can't see what I could leave out! I realize that when I go to Illinois for a week, that I can only take one suitcase,but that doesn't seem to be a problem. I think its because it's the beach, there's just something about the beach that requires a lot of stuff. It's very puzzling...

New Photos

Ahhhh! New photos are on their way. I'm going to Myrtle Beach for Thanksgiving and will take my cameras. I will probably do all digital because the darkroom I use is to cold to get good results. This time next years I will have all of my own chemicals and then I can control the variables of developing better. I am excited...love the beach and I've never been to Myrtle beach. Its gonna be great!!!

A little Whine.....

Well I printed up some pics of Dolly etc. The darkroom is way to cold to get anything right. The computer will have to do...unless I drag a heater in the darkroom for several hours. I 'm working on a painting of Summer. and not liking it much. I also worked a long time on one of the ocean...had it perfect the ...just couldn't leave it alone....obviously I need a caretaker!! So it is screwed up and scraped down for now. I studied 5 days straight for Spanish and did badly on the test..I'm sure. Oh well..Next semester will be sad...my last one...then I need to move on and build a life! Here is one of my ghost trees!
I will return to Ghost Ranch.

working plan...

I have about 30 hrs to do papers, postings and read parts of 4 books and if by some chance it all gets done I will start a painting. (How I will learn chapter 7 in Spanish is beyond comprehension!) I don't know what I will paint...but painting is always a break from these other things. My Canon is back home from the repair shop and I may take a few digital photos...well its never a few it's 100 bad ones and 6 good ones! So looking forward to end of semester in 5 weeks....it's all downhill from there. Two classes in the spring WOW! I can paint and photo my little heart out.
